Learn moreAsk two people where Haslet is and you may get two answers. One is the City of Haslet itself: a small, spread-out town where many homes sit on one to four acres, often with no HOA and room for horses. The other is the 76052 ZIP code, which takes in big master-planned neighborhoods like Sendera Ranch and Willow Springs. Many of those homes have Haslet mailing addresses but sit inside Fort Worth.
We clean windows in both. What they have in common is dust. Open land, steady wind and the AllianceTexas logistics hub right next door keep a film on Haslet glass that builds faster than in most of the towns we serve. Here's how we deal with it, and why the tracks matter more out here than almost anywhere.
Country lots inside the city, plus the 76052 neighborhoods that share the Haslet name.
Haslet sits between open pasture and a major freight hub. Your glass catches both.
Alliance Airport, the BNSF intermodal yard and the big parcel hubs bring nonstop truck traffic along US 287 and I-35W, and the road film drifts onto nearby homes.
With few trees or fences to slow it down, the wind carries field dust straight onto wide, exposed walls of windows.
Sprinklers leave mineral spots on low glass. Homes on private wells can see more of it, since well water is often harder than city water.
August is the driest month in DFW, with about 2 inches of rain. With little rain to rinse it off, dust stacks up on glass and solar panels.

Homes in Haslet Heights, Lonesome Dove Estates, Avondale Ranch and the other acreage neighborhoods tend to be wide and spread out, with big porches and windows on every side to take in the view. That view also means nothing stands between your glass and the wind. Dust that would get caught by a neighbor's fence in a tighter subdivision lands right on your windows.
On these homes, the technician starts with a walk around the whole house to spot heavy dust, mineral spots and any damaged screens before cleaning. Reachable glass gets the traditional method: a T-bar scrub, #0000 steel wool on stuck-on specks, a squeegee and hand-finished edges. Tall gables and upper windows get the water-fed pole, which reaches about 40 feet from the ground and rinses with water filtered on-site to under 10 TDS. Nothing is left in that water to spot as it dries, and there's no ladder sinking into soft ground.
Some acreage homes run sprinklers off a private well. Well water is often harder than city water, so those sprinklers can leave heavier white spots on the glass. Light spotting comes off in any normal clean. Heavier buildup needs full hard water removal, which comes free with our Monthly and Quarterly plans and isn't offered on one-time or Biannual cleans.
On the other side of the ZIP, Sendera Ranch, Willow Springs and Northstar are newer neighborhoods full of production-built one- and two-story homes. Many of them sit inside Fort Worth city limits rather than the City of Haslet. That doesn't matter to us: if your address says Haslet, we serve it.
These homes have their own set of problems. New sprinklers hit the front windows. Second-story glass over the back patio is hard to reach. And with homes still going up nearby, construction dust is common. If you just moved in, our post-construction window cleaning takes care of builder labels, paint specks and the grit in new tracks. After that, a regular exterior window cleaning plan keeps the glass clear.

Wipe the glass and the dust is gone from view. But in Haslet, a lot of it slides down the pane and settles in the window tracks, where it mixes with pollen, dead bugs and a little moisture into packed grit. Over time that grit makes windows stiff to open and slow to drain after a storm.
That's why track cleaning is part of every Berry Bros visit, not an extra charge. The technician scrubs the grit loose, clears the corners and wipes the track down so the window slides freely again. Screens get the same attention: they come out, get brushed and refreshed, and go back in clean along with the rest of the window. You can see the full process on our window track detailing page.
Alliance Airport and the logistics hub around it are a big reason Haslet is growing, and also a big reason the glass gets dirty. Between air cargo, the BNSF rail yard, the parcel hubs and the trucks running US 287 and I-35W, there's a steady fine film in the air that coats windows and rooftop solar panels alike. If you have panels, solar panel cleaning can be done on the same visit, with the water-fed pole from the ground or from the roof.
Our suggestion for most Haslet homes: a Quarterly plan. You get $75 off every visit, free hard water removal, Berry RainBlock Tech coating to help water bead off the glass, and our 7-day rain guarantee. Dust doesn't get the chance to harden into a film between visits.
With any service plan, you're put on the schedule once and we keep coming back, with a text 1–2 days ahead and another when we're on the way. Plans run on a service agreement with no cancellation fees. Every clean is held to the Berry Bros standard, and if a window isn't right, call within 7 days and we'll fix it free. For the factors that shape your price, see window cleaning cost.
It depends on the home. A wide acreage house with windows on every side is a different job from a two-story in Sendera Ranch, and the amount of dust and hard water spotting matters too. We quote every home individually, for free, before any work starts. See what affects the price.

Open land lets the wind carry field dust straight to your glass, and the AllianceTexas logistics hub adds a steady film from truck and air cargo traffic. Late summer, with little rain, makes it worse. A Quarterly plan keeps it from building up.
Yes, on every visit, at no extra charge. In Haslet the tracks collect a lot of dust and grit, so cleaning them keeps windows sliding freely and draining properly after rain.
Yes. We clean solar panels with the water-fed pole, from the ground or from the roof. Cleaning from the roof usually gives the better result. It can be scheduled alongside your window cleaning.
